Alvin Martin Knecht - Funeral services for Mr. Knecht, son of John P. and Mrs. 
Lena Hill Knecht, of 3500 Newport Avenue, who died in a Lynchburg hospital Monday 
night, were conducted on the family plat on Hill Crest Farm, Southampton county, 
Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. J. A. Engle, pastor of the Park Place Methodist 
Church, and the Rev. R. H. Marks, of Capron. Pallbearers were Frank Marks, R. B. 
Story, Gordon Bryant, George Conley, John P. Knecht, Jr., and Frank Hill Knecht.
