NORFOLK — Mrs. Lucille E. Knewstep, 65, of 505 Roland Drive, the wife of Edward 
A. Knewstep Sr. and a daughter of Thomas C. and Mrs. Elizabeth Griffin 
Sanderlin, died in her home Tuesday at 1:45 p.m.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. She was a member of North American 
Benefit Association 5.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Edward A. Knewstep Jr. of 
Norfolk; two brothers, A. M. Sanderlin of Virginia Beach and Edward D. Sanderlin 
of Norfolk;, and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 2 
p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
