Funeral services for Jessie Knight, of 7048 Gregory drive, were held recently 
at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Matthews officiating.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery with J. Hughes Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.  Mr. Knight was a native of Wilson, NC, having come to Norfolk 
in 1940.  The member of Antioch Baptist Church was also a World War I veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Knight, three sons, three daughters, 
and three sisters.
