Norfolk-Virginian, December 23, 1886
DIED: KNIGHT - In this city, on December 22, 1886, THOMAS KNIGHT, aged 56 years.
Funeral will take place from his late residence, No. 102 Main Street, this 
Thursday afternoon, at 3:30 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited
to attend.

DEATH OF A SOUTH CAROLINIAN
Thomas Knight, a tinner by trade, and formerly a resident of South Carolina, 
and a Confederate veteran, died at his residence, No. 102 Main Street, 
yesterday. His funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, from his 
residence, and will be attended by Assembly No. 4, 380, K of L, of which 
organization he was a member.
