E. Paul Simms, of First Baptist, and the Rev. Richard B. Martin, of Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Mrs. Knight was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Archer and the widow of Charles Knight. A graduate of the Norfolk Mission college, Mrs. Knight was a retired employee of te Norfolk Museum; a member of the Tents; Eureka Lodge auxilliary; Daughters of Norfolk; Metropolitan Choir; and for 50 years was a member of the choir of First Baptist Church, Bute street. She is survived by five brothers, Charles G. Archer, Richard B. Archer, James P. Archer and Dr. Edward R. Archer, all of Norfolk and John T. Archer of Canton OH; and three sisters, Mrs. Ella Saunders and Mrs. Florence Wilson of Norfolk and Miss Cleo Archer of New York City. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with B. F. King Funeral Home in charge.
