Last rites were held for Mrs. Alice  Knight on Sunday at First Calvary Baptist 
Church by the Rev. C. E. Griffin.  Mrs. Knight died May 23 in her home at 1319 
Virginia Beach boulevard after a short illness.

The deceased was a native of Dinwiddie County and was the daughter of James and 
Mrs. Adlene Robinson and the widow of Arthur Knight

Mrs. Knight, a native of Norfolk for 55 years, was a member of First Calvary 
Baptist Church, Norfolk Social and Beneficial Association, and Temple 1-A of 
Daughter Elks.

Surviving are a son, Arthur James Knight;  and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Barco, both 
of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.
