Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch March 24, 1939
                                  DEATHS
Grover Cleveland Knight, aged 54, husband of Mrs. Sarah Payne Knight, died 
suddenly at his residence, 630 Boissevain avenue, last night at 7 o'clock. Mr. 
Knight was a son of the late William H. and Mrs. Georgianna Stringer Knight, and 
was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Surviving him, besides his wife, 
are a sister, Mrs. L. E. Hitchings, and a brother, W. Hunter Knight, of Norfolk. 
Mr. Knight was a member of Norfolk Lodge 38, B.P.O.E., and was financial 
secretary of the B.M. & P.I.U. No. 2, of Virginia.
The body was removed to the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, Colley and 
Harrington avenues, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. 
The Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church, will officiate. 
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
