                           Mrs. Sarah J. Knight
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Knight, 76 years old, whose death occurred 
yesterday morning at 1:15 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ida P. 
Eley, 743 Redgate avenue, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the 
Hollomon-Brown funeral home, corner Twenty-ninth and Granby streets. Interment 
will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Mrs. Knight was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was one of the charter members 
of First Baptist church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ida P. Eley, Mrs. 
Betty Mathews and Mrs. W. D. Flora, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Paul Payne of 
Annapolis, Md., and six grandchildren.
