Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 2, 1933
                          Capt. William H. Knight
Firemen joined friends in a last tribute to Capt. William H. Knight, for fifty 
years an active member of the Norfolk Fire Department, during funeral services 
today at 3 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church, of which he was a member. The body 
had been removed from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. L. E. Hitchings, 828 
Spotswood avenue, to the place of the funeral. Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of 
the church, officiated. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
