Kenneth W. Knight II, 21, of the 1500 block of Colonial Ave., died May 12, 
1998, in his home.

Kenneth was the loving son of Nancy Johnston Byrd and stepson to Allen Byrd. He 
was a native of Virginia Beach and attended Princess Anne High School. For 
seven years he worked side by side with his grandfather at Albemarle Supply Co. 
In recent months he worked with a close friend to form BMC Custom Polishing.

His survivors also include his brother, Matthew P. Knight of Norfolk; his 
father, Kenneth W. Knight; his grandparents, Edward C. Johnston Sr. and Betty 
F. Johnston of Norfolk and Donald and Peggy Knight of Louden, N.H.; an uncle, 
Edward C. Johnston Jr. of Virginia Beach; an aunt, Rhoda B. Johnston; and a 
cousin, Kristen Johnston both of Zuni, Va.

A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Jeff Heath. Burial will be at Elmwood 
Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite 
charity.
