NORFOLK - John B. Knight, 73, of 1005 Hampton Blvd., a native of Norfolk, died 
Wednesday in a hospital.
Knight had retired in 1972 from Norfolk Fire Department after 28 years. He was a 
member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Beverly Wright of Portsmouth, and three 
grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas J. Quinlan. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
The family will be at 3417 Freemason Drive, Portsmouth.
