Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 30, 1918

Allen Jones Knowlton, aged 2 years, 2 months and 7 days, died yesterday morning at 
7:55 o'clock at the family residence, 279 Maple avenue, after an illness of 2 
days.  He was the son of Mr. Allen F. and Mrs. Pearl Jones Knowlton.  The funeral 
will be conducted at the above residence this afternoon at 5 o'clock by Rev S.J. 
Battin, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church.  The interment will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
