Knowlton, a well known and highly esteemed lady of the town, died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock after a long illness. She was 37 years of age and leaves a husband, Capt. C.E. Knowlton and six sons and daughters, as follows: Capt. Parker R., Miss Louisa M., Allen F, Hazel D., Carrie E. and Clarence. The deceased was born in Deer Isle, Me., where she resided with her family until December, five years ago, when Capt. Knowlton came to Berkley. Mrs. Knowlton was attacked about a year ago with a cold and la grippe, which subsequently developed into consumption, from which she has been a sufferer until relieved in death. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with headquarters in Louisiana, Ia. The funeral will be conducted from the family residence on Liberty Street, near the intersection of Pine Street, this afternoon at 4 o'clock and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
