Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, November 17, 1996 
James N. (Bobby) Knox, 51, formerly of the 2400 block of Hanson Ave., died Nov.
14, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A retired tire changer at Harris Tire, Mr. Knox was a Norfolk native.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Parker; daughter Dwana Knox Warren; two
stepdaughters, Kathy Parker and Deshaunda Parker; son Antonio Jones; two
stepsons, Vision Parker and Miracle Parker; his parents, Viola and Moses; six
sisters, Almeta, Helen, Jacqueline, Louise, Vivian and Irene; nine brothers,
Ellery, William, Timothy, Winston, Jeff, Moses and Jerry of Norfolk, Larry of
Texas and Charlie of North Carolina; a grandparent, Almeta Poole; 14
grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk by
Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . There will be a wake
service in the funeral home chapel from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Family and
friends will assemble at 3115 Strathmore Ave. Tuesday at 1 p.m.
