The Virginian Pilot April 6, 1956
Mrs. Jennie Higgs Koch, 77, daughter of Jacob and Mrs. Laura Sorrell Higgs, 
died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 4:35 p.m.  She was a native of Raleigh, 
N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 23 years, residing at 244 West 
Freemason St. at the time of her death.
She is survived by one niece, Miss Martha S. Iredell, and one nephew, James 
Iredell, both of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 1 
p.m. by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
