 Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday February 5, 1940
Leon Kochenderfer, aged 49, of 531 West Thirty-seventh street, died at his 
home yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock after a short illness.  He was a native 
of Millersburg, O., and had made his home here for seven years.  The son of 
the late Charles W. and Mrs. Anna Van Evera Kochenderfer, he is survived by 
one daughter, Mary Catherine Kochenderfer, of Norfolk and two brothers, Gerald 
Kochenderfer, of Cleveland, O. and Willard Kochenderfer, of Washington.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson 
streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
