Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday February 25, 1941
Mrs. Ethel Duganne Koontz, aged 57, wife of M.S. Koontz, died at her residence, 
1719 Pope avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4:10 o'clock.  Besides her husband, she 
is survived by a daughter, Miss Emily Koontz; a son, A.S. Koontz, all of Norfolk 
and three brothers, Charles G., Austin D. and Alfred Duganne, all of Washington, 
D.C.  Mrs. Koontz was a native of Washington and had been a resident of Norfolk 25 
years and was a member of Epworth Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
