VIRGINIA BEACH - Anthony Carl Kovacs, 48, of Route 4, son of Mrs. Goldie Horvath 
Kovacs and the late Charles Andrew Kovacs, died Saturday at 8 p.m. in his home.
A native of Josephine, Pa., he lived here most of his life. He was a member of St. 
Matthew’s Catholic Church.
Besides his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Rose Laytay of San Diego, 
Calif., Mrs. Goldie Davis of Jamul, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Rose Woody and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Marks of Virginia Beach; and three brothers, Charles A. Kovacs Jr., 
Emery Kovacs, and Sam Kovacs of Virginia Beach.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
