Virginian-Pilot June 12, 1950
Miss Julia Kovacs, 27, daughter of Charles Kovacs Sr., and Mrs. Goldie Kovacs, 
died at a Norfolk hospital, Saturday at 4 p.m. She was a lifelong resident of St. 
Brides, Norfolk County.
Besides her parents, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. George A. Wood Jr., 
Mrs. Bela Laytay, Mrs. H. L. Davis, all of San Diego, Calif., and Miss Elizabeth 
Kovacs, of St. Brides, and four brothers, Sam, Emery, Charles Jr., and Anthony 
Kovacs, all of St. Brides.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at St. Brides, tomorrow at 2 p.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
