Virginian-Pilot March 12, 1935
KREIG, HARLAND D. - Suddenly, Monday, March 4, 1935, in San Diego, Cal., HARLAND 
D. KREIG, beloved husband of Louise Cunningham Kreig, in the 41st year of his age.
Funeral services will be conducted THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock from the 
funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road, corner Moran avenue. 
Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 

Additional Comments:
From the San Diego, CA Sun newspaper, he died on the 3rd from convulsions after 
"power diving" his airplane, possibly causing rupture of an intracranial aneurysm.
