NORFOLK - Albert Ellsworth Krise, 92, son of Gustave and Mrs. Christina 
Gloeckner Krise, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 8:30 p.m. He was a 
native of Canton, Pa., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 66 years, residing 
at 508 Connecticut Ave. at the time of his death. He was a member of Christ and 
St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Mr. Krise was a former president of the City National Bank and a former 
president of the Atlantic Trust and Deposit Co. He was one of the two remaining 
directors of the first Jamestown Exposition, and was secretary and treasurer of 
the Commonwealth Storage and Ice Co., and still a vice president of the General 
Ice and Storage Co.
He is survived by one son, A. Ellsworth Krise; one grandson, Albert Ellsworth 
Krise III; one granddaughter, Miss Christina Lanier Krise, all of Norfolk, and 
one nephew, Will Rodney of Canton, Pa.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
NORFOLK - Funeral services for Albert Ellsworth Krise, who died Tuesday at a 
Norfolk hospital, will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today 
at noon by the Rev. George Ballentine, of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
