Mrs. Krise, a native of Portsmouth, had retired from Tidewater Automobile Association, and was named a Kentucky Colonel, an honor given by the governor of that state. She was a member of Ghent United Methodist Church in Norfolk. Survivors include her husband, Albert Ellsworth Krise Jr, a daughter, Christina K. Gray of Suffolk; a son, Albert E. "Buddy" Krise III of Norfolk; her stepmother, Mary W. Grubbs of Richmond; two sisters, Dorothy G Jeffers and Ann Biltchington, both of Richmond, a brother, Charles N. Grubbs Jr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk by the Rev. David Wilson. The family will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in Hill Funeral Home, and at the residence al other times.
