Virginian Pilot December 11, 1907
Mrs. Sarah M. Kriss died at her home in South Norfolk yesterday morning at 8 
o'clock after a lingering illness from typhoid fever.
The deceased was a native of Olean, N.Y. and came here several years ago 
with her husband, who was connected with the James G. Wilson Manufacturing 
Company.  She was 44 years old and is survived by a husband and several 
children.
The funeral will be conducted from the South Norfolk Baptist Church Thursday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. Q.C. Davis officiating.  The interment 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah M. Kriss, wife of T.M. Kriss, was 
conducted from the South Norfolk Baptist Church yesterday afternoon.  Rev 
Q.C. Davis, pastor of the church, officiated.  The attendance was quite 
large and the floral wreaths were beautiful.  Interment was in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
