The Virginian Pilot June 4, 2008
Wilhelm J. Kristiansen, 87, of the 1200 block of Park Ave., passed away 
peacefully June 1, 2008, in his home in South Norfolk where he had resided for 
31 years. He was born in Trondheim, Norway, May 8, 1921, to the late Emil and 
Helene Pedersen Kristiansen. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 
his loving wife, Ann Davis Kristiansen; a stepson, Lance M. Ott; sisters, 
Dagney and Brit and brother, Bernard. Before moving to the United States, he 
retired from the Norwegian Merchant Marines. He and Ann were married for 22 
years before her death and for many years he and Ann ran Ann's Third Floor 
Antiques. He was a loving family man and devoted member of South Norfolk 
Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and was a Christian. He is survived by his 
loving daughter, Donna Eason and her husband Bob of Franklin and their 
children, Joseph Anjal and Joey Eason; his sister, Ase of Trondheim, Norway; 
brothers, Odd, Egil and Rolf; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Ott and her children, 
Lindsay Stapleton, Kelly and Paul Ott; great-grandchildren, Skylar and McKenna 
Stapleton, Gracie Duke and Lilah Mae Jeffries; brother-in-law, J. James Davis 
Jr. and his wife Cathleen and their children; a niece, Kay B' Smith and her 
children Kirsten, Rebecca and Lelani; a nephew, Jay Davis; and brother-in-law, 
J. Morgan Davis and his wife Sheri. A graveside service will be held Thursday 
at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier 
Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions should be made to 
South Norfolk Baptist Church, 1101 Chesapeake Ave., Chesapeake, VA 23324.
