Virginian-Pilot, October 20, 1956
NORFOLK -Joseph S. Kruger, 58, a resident of Norfolk for 45 years, died 
yesterday at 6:30 p.m. at the residence, 419 Redgate Ave. He was the father of 
the late Dr. Alfred L. Kruger.
Surviving him are four daughters, Mrs. Murry Robert Forer of Great Neck, Long 
Island, NY; Mrs. Irwin Bragman of Augusta, GA; Mrs. Joseph Steinberg, and Mrs. 
Maynard Neider of Columbia, SC; 12 grandchildren and one brother, Ben Kruger, 
of Brooklyn, NY.
He was a member of the United Orthodox Synagogue.
Services will be conducted at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts tomorrow at 11 a.m. by 
Rabbi Joseph Shecter of the United Orthodox Synagogue. Burial will be in Khal 
Chasedim (B'Nai Israel) Cemetery.
