Virginian-Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 16, 1934

Mrs. Anna Kumow, aged 80, wife of J.W. Kumow, died in Newport News yesterday. 
Mrs. Kumow was a native of Poland, a former resident of Norfolk and was residing 
in Newport News at the time of her death. Besides her husband, she is survived 
by eight children and a number of grandchildren. The body will be taken from  
H.D Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to St.. Mary's 
Catholic Church for services Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery.

MRS. ANNA KUMOW - Remains of Mrs. Kumow, wife of J. W. Kumow, whose death 
occurred Monday at Newport News, will be taken from H. D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, Norfolk, to St. Mary's Catholic Church 
for services this morning at 10 o'clock.  Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
