 KURTZ - In Denver, Col., Friday, April 26, 1907, Dr. WILLIE E. KURTZ, aged 31 
years.
The funeral will take place from the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, SUNDAY, May 
5th, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

The remains of Dr. Willie E. Kurtz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd L. Kurtz, whose 
death occurred in Denver, Col., April 26, will arrive here this morning. The 
funeral will be held from St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 3 o'clock this 
afternoon and will be conducted by the rector, Rev. C.E. Woodson. The deceased 
had been absent from the city for several years.

The remains of Dr. Willie E. Kurtz, whose death occurred in Denver, Col. last 
week, reached Norfolk Sunday morning accompanied by relatives. The funeral was 
solemnized from St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Brambleton, Sunday afternoon at 3 
o'clock in the presence of a large concourse of the friends of the deceased. The 
service was conducted by Rev. C.E. Woodson, rector of the church. There was a 
profusion of beautiful floral tributes. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. 
The pallbearers were as follows: Drs. S.W. Hammond, W.J. Riddick, H.E. Jenkins, 
W.B. Meredith, R.S. Kight and S.R.  Donohoe.
