Virginian-Pilot February 8, 1920
Mrs. Mary Guerrierri Lacava, 48 years old, died yesterday afternoon in a local 
hospital, following a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Rocco Lacava, 
one son, Joseph; two daughters, Lucy and Mary; her mother, Mrs. Lucia Guerrierri; 
two brothers, Antonio and Nick Guerrierri, of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph 
Didio, of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock in St. Mary’s 
Catholic church. Burial will be made in St. Mary’s cemetery.


Additional Comments:
On her death certificate and funeral record, her maiden name is spelled Gierriere.
