NORFOLK - Charlie Lacks Jr., 66, of the 800 block of Princess Anne Road, a 
retired warehouseman, died July 31, 1986, in his home.

Mr. Lacks, a native of Halifax, had retired from Hall-Hodges Co. after 30 years. 
He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Joe L. West of Maryland; four sisters, Inez J. 
Barksdale of Baltimore, Alice Lacks and Elinor V. Lacks, both of New York, and 
Annie Carter of Lynchburg; and a brother, Willie H. Lacks of New York.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will meet 
at the residence.
