The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, April 7, 1977

NORFOLK - Howard Lacy of 1422 Church St., a native of Surry County, died 
Wednesday in a hospital.

He worked for National Casket Co. for 20 years and retired.

He was a member of the House of Prayer for All People.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cornelia Pickens, and a sister, Mrs. Nanie L. 
Ward, both of Norfolk; and a grandchild.

The body was taken to Elton Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his 
sister, Mrs. Nannie L. Ward, of 1810 Bracy St.
