Mrs. Sarah F. Laforme died yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock after a lingering 
illness of several weeks of pneumonia, at her home, 913 Liberty street.
The deceased was 78 years old, and is survived by a husband, Benjamin Laforme 
and one daughter, Mrs. W.C. Meginley, the latter of South Norfolk.
She was a native of Virginia and has resided her all of her life and was highly 
esteemed by a large circle of friends.
She was a consistent member of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, from which the 
funeral will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock.  The pastor, Rev. W.A. 
Smith, will officiate, and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah F. Laforme, who died Saturday morning at her 
home, 918 Liberty street, was conducted from the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church 
Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the church, 
officiated.  
The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  The pallbearers were Messrs. S.W. 
Pierce, J.A. McKimmey, C.J. Brown, J.L. Riggs, R.K. Spry and J.F. Sawyer.
