Virginian-Pilot June 8 & 9, 1929
Mrs. Angelina Coppola Lagana, aged 60, widow of Frank Lagana, died last night at 
7:30 o’clock at the residence, 316 Park avenue. She was a native of Italy, but 
had been a well-known resident of Norfolk for 30 years. Surviving her are five 
sons, Joseph F., Samuel P., D. V. and Paul C. Lagana, all of Norfolk, and J. A. 
Lagana, of New York, two daughters, Mrs. D. Cento and Miss Esther A. Lagana, and 
two grandchildren of Norfolk; two brothers, Frank Coppola, of Norfolk, and 
Anthony Coppola, of Brooklyn, and three sisters, Miss Frances Coppola, of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. Grace Polemeni and Mrs. Catherine Cimato, both of Italy. 
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

LAGANA, ANGELINA COPPOLA - At the residence, No. 316 Park avenue, Friday, June 
7, 1929, at 7:30 o’clock p.m., ANGELINA COPPOLA, widow of Frank Lagana, in the 
61st year of her age.
Funeral services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
