VIRGINIA BEACH - Carmalina Montagna LaGiglia, 103, of the 2100 block of Pacific 
Ave., died June 11, 1986, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. LaGiglia, a native of Nicosia, Siciliy, was a member of Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church and a life member of the Roma Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Michael LaGiglia and Joseph L. LaGiglia, both of 
Virginia Beach; two sisters, Anne Montagna and Jennie Montagna; and two 
brothers, George Montagna and Anthony Montagna, all of Norfolk; six grand-
children; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Star of the 
Sea Catholic Church by the Rev. Raymond F. McIntyre. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Laskin Road. After the service, the family will be at 1205 Tanager 
Trail, Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
