VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Marian Gibson LaGiglia, 63, of 2108 Pacific Ave., the wife 
of Michael A. LaGiglia, died Thursday in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Star of the Sea Catholic 
Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Connie Metzger of New Jersey, and 
Mrs. Polly Upton of Virginia Beach; two sons, Michael A. LaGiglia Jr. and Joseph 
C. LaGiglia; and a brother, Charles E. Gibson, all of Virginia Beach; and eight 
grandchildren.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, where the 
Rosary will be said Sunday night at 7. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 
at 10 a.m. in Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at 2414 Baltic Ave., Virginia Beach.
