LAM DIES AT AGE OF 60 Funeral Services Tomorrow for Public Accountant and Church Worker Walter Culton Lam, aged 60, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 10 o'clock after an illness of one week. He was a native of Rockbridge County and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 35 years. Mr. Lam was a public accountant, an elder in Knox Presbyterian Church and a member of Ruth Lodge No. 89, A.F. & A.M. He was the son of the late William Perry and Mrs. Margaret Paxton Lam, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sue Brown Lam; three daughters, Misses Elizabeth, Katherine and Margaret Lam, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Henry L. Lam, of Norfolk, and James W. Lam, of Lexington; four sisters, Mrs. Herbert Pultz, Mrs. Claud Pultz, Mrs. Plummer Pultz and Mrs. Warren Goodman, all of Lexington. The body will be taken from the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro. 631 Westover avenue, to the family residence, 633 Graydon Park, for funeral services tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. James Sprunt, pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. W.H.T. Squires will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
