CHESAPEAKE - Nick Mario Lamastra Sr., 78, of 800 Orville Ave., husband of Mrs. 
Mary Upton Lamastra, died in his home Friday at 1 p.m.
He was a retired restaurateur.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Peters of 
Greensburg, Ind.; two sons, Francis J. Lamastra and Nick M. Lamastra Jr. of 
Norfolk; three step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Frances VanStavern, Mrs. Eunice Fox 
Bateman and Mrs. Ann Runaldue, and a stepson, Nick Fotinos, all of Norfolk; two 
sisters, Mrs. Josie Waterman and Mrs. Louise Turner of Norfolk; two brothers, 
Denny Grillo of Baltimore and Frank Grillo of New York City; and 18 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. Willis E. Joiner of South Norfolk Congregational Christian 
Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
