Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 6, 2016
Police have identified a man who died Wednesday morning after a shooting at West 
29th Street and Gosnold Avenue. 

Several people called police about 4:20 a.m., according to a police news release. 
When officers arrived, they found 33-year-old Donta M. Lamb with several gunshot 
wounds. Police said Lamb died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

Police are investigating the shooting and did not release any information about a 
shooter. Anyone with information can call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
