A native of Norfolk County, he was a son of the late Reuben Lamb Sr. and Mrs. Margaret Lamb and the husband of Mrs. Clara Lamb. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, and elder and assistant superintendent of the sabbath School, and a member of the Men's Chorus. A graduate of Agricultural & Technical College, Greensboro, N.C., he was a building contractor in Norfolk more than 50 years. He had B.S. degree in industrial education. Beside his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret L. Drake of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Amy Cuffee; 12 stepchildren, a granddaughter and two grandsons. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in First United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Otis J. Wynn. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick funeral Service in charge. The body will be in the church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
