Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch July 24 & 25, 1928
Miss Maria Kerr Lamb, daughter of the late Col. William and Sarah Chaffee Lamb, 
died Monday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock at Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a native and 
former resident of Norfolk and, for the past five years, had resided in Brooklyn.
Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. A. A. Bilisoly, of Portsmouth, Va., and one 
brother, H. W. Lamb, of Hackensack, N.J. Notice of funeral later.
                           MISS MARIA KERR LAMB
Funeral services for Miss Maria Kerr Lamb, whose death occurred Monday afternoon 
at Brooklyn, N.Y., will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at St. Paul's Church 
here, Rev. H. H. Covington, D.D., and Rev. Charles H. Holmead, D.D., rector of 
Trinity Church, Portsmouth, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
