C. Lamb Dead. Mr. Wm. C. Lamb, son of Col. Wm. Lamb, died in New Bern, N.C., Thursday of intermittent fever, after an illness of only two or three days. Mr. Lamb was en route to Norfolk from Florida at the time of his death, which occurred in one of the hotels at that place. He was a native of this city, where he has a large number of friends, who will deeply lament his death. He was a gentleman of bright conversational powers and extremely popular. His remains will arrive in Norfolk this morning over the Seaboard road. FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of the late William C. Lamb will take place at the residence of his father, Colonel William Lamb, 10 Bute street, TODAY, September 16th, at 3 o'clock. His friends and those of his family are invited to attend.
