Norfolk - Only W. Lamb, 56, of 6905 Minnie avenue, the husband of Mrs. Helen
Lamb died in his home after a long illness. A native of Norfolk County, he was a
son of Mrs. Charity Lamb and the late Will Lamb.

He retired from ILA Local 1458 as a freight handler at Lamberts Point Docks.,
and was a member of Garden of Prayer Church of God in Christ.

Besides his widow and mother, surviving are two sons, William P. Lamb of Norfolk
and Owens B. Lamb of New Jersey; a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Clona of Norfolk; three
brothers, George Drew of Norfolk and Charlie Drew and Booker T. Lamb of
Philadelphia; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Walker and Mrs. Fannie Cofer of Norfolk
and Mrs. Ophelia Wynn of Philadelphia; and 15 grandchildren.

Services were held in Garden of Prayer Church by Bishop L. E. Willis. Burial was
in Calvary Cemetery with Twilight Funeral Home in charge.
