Norfolk Journal and Guide,May 19,1945  
Mrs. Mary Lamb died at a local hospital on May 5, after a long illness. Funeral 
services were held on May 10 from the St. James AME Church with the Rev. J. R. 
Brown officiating. Burial took place in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Fitchett 
and Bell Funeral Home in charge.
