James Edward Lambert, aged 62, husband of Mary Carter Lambert and son of the late Hilary and Margaret A. Lambert, died at his residence 1337 East Ocean View Avenue, yesterday morning at 7 o’clock. Captain Lambert was a native of Norfolk County and had spent his entire life in this section. He was a wholesale fish dealer and for many years operated a fishery at Ocean View. Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Joseph T. Wright, Mrs. A. Randolph Spencer, and Miss Ruth Lambert, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. G.R. Silverberg of New York; three sons, E.Y., C.R., and H.E. Lambert, one sister, Miss Eva Lambert, all of Norfolk, and one brother Walter Lambert, of Portsmouth. Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock with J.M. Mountford, of the International Bible Students’ Association, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
