Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, May 22, 1992 
Adeline Carter ``Lyna'' Lambert of the 1000 block of Anderson St., died May 19,
1992, in her home.

Mrs. Lambert was born in North Carolina. She was the widow of Dockery Lambert
Sr. She was a member and deaconess of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include five stepdaughters, Naomi Adams and Queenie Branch, both of
Norfolk, Lena Siler of Portsmouth, Ruth Brown of Washington, D.C., and Beulah
White of Indianapolis; four stepsons, Calvin Lambert Sr. and Dockery Lambert
Jr., both of Virginia Beach, and Alexander Lambert Sr. and Melvin Lambert Sr.,
both of Chesapeake; 33 stepgrandchildren and 45 stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Shiloh Baptist Church by the
Rev. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is
handling arrangements.
