Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch September 30 & October 1, 1912
E. O. Lambert died very suddenly at Pine Beach this morning. He had been in bad 
health for some time, but was able to be out today, dying in a few minutes after 
being taken worse. He was 56 years of age and single. The funeral arrangements 
were not complete this afternoon.
                           FUNERAL OF MR. LAMBERT.
The funeral of E. O. Lambert occurred at 4 p.m. today from the residence of his 
sister, Mrs. Charles A. Morris, No. 404 Fairfax avenue, and was largely attended, 
Rev. C. O. Tuttle, of Ghent Methodist Church, officiating. There were handsome 
floral tributes. The elks, of which he was a member, were in attendance. Interment 
in Cedar Grove cemetery.
