Virginian-Pilot June 8, 1978
NORFOLK — James R. Lambert, 72, of 1405 Sunset Drive, a retired, 20-year employee 
of Norfolk Naval Air Station and a Norfolk native, died Wednesday in his home.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Elsie M. Wright and Miss Ruth M. Lambert of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. Audrey Silvers of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a brother, Hilary E. 
Lambert of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. A 
funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Pastor James E. 
Womble.
