                                OBITUARY
Funeral services for John Lambert, 74 years old, who died last night at 8:30 
o'clock after a lingering illness, will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at 
the residence of his niece, Mrs. W. M. Whitehurst, 300 E. Twenty-fifth street. 
Rev. E. E. Dudley, D.D., of Portsmouth, and Rev. W. H. T. Squires, D.D., co-pastor 
of Colley-Knox Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood 
cemetery. Mr. Lambert was a native of Norfolk and had lived here all his life. He 
is survived by a son, John Littleton Lambert, and two grandchildren of 
Philadelphia.
