Virginian-Pilot March 10, 1934
Mrs. Lena Powell Lambert, aged 69, widow of Thomas H. Lambert, died at a local 
hospital yesterday morning at 10:20 o'clock. She is survived by three daughters, 
Mrs. B. H. Davis and Mrs. W. J. McDonald, both of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Constance 
Buckingham, of Norfolk; two sons, E. H. and H. T. Lambert, both of Norfolk, and 12 
grandchildren. Mrs. Lambert was a native and life-long resident of Norfolk. She 
was a member of the Ghent Methodist Church and resided at 1401 Granby street.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
