                                  DEATHS
LAMBERT - On Wednesday, May 3d, at 2:53 o'clock a.m., after a brief illness, 
LEONARD STANFORD, only son of Thomas H. and Lena Lambert; aged 3 months and 16 
days.
A tender bud, the light of a parent's heart, and the joy of all around, has been 
suddenly, by the unerring hand of Death, taken from loved ones and transplanted 
in the Paradise of God to bloom in eternal beauty among the multiplied hosts of 
redeemed spirits who have entered the family of the first born in Heaven. 
Farewell, dear Lennie, we hope to meet you when Life's short day is o'er. 'Tis 
God who gave you, and it is He who has taken you; blessed be His holy name.
the funeral will take place from the residence of the parents, No. 523 Church 
street, THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 2:30 o'clock. The friends and acquaintances 
of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
