Virginian-Pilot February 1, 1941
Mrs. Mary S. Lambert, aged 60, widow of William Thomas Lambert and daughter of the 
late W. C. and Mrs. Margaret Anne Wilson, a native and lifelong resident of this 
section, died yesterday morning at her residence, 2604 Lafayette boulevard. She is 
survived by one son, L. L. Lambert, and one brother, W. E. Wilson, both of 
Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, 
D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
